Board Meeting Minutes, April 10, 2008, 7 p.m.

1. Mosquito Spraying - Sandy Cope has investigated several alternatives to APM, which has served us in the past. Although the board has not been entirely satisfied with the service from APM, none of the alternatives investigated so far appear to be more attractive. We will contract with APM for the 2008 season, and Sandy will continue to follow up on alternatives.
Jerry will write up some suggestions for minimizing mosquito breeding areas in the community, and send them to John Poole for publishing on the Elk Forest website.
2. Treasurer's Report - Pat Truitt reported that 82 families have paid
dues for 2007 (of approximately 100 homes in Elk Forest).
The checking account has a balance of approximately $3,200.00Our 3 CD's
have a value of $30,500.00
3. August 17 was chosen for the Elk Forest Picnic and Annual Meeting, to be held at the Truitt's.
4. After the April 19 clean up, Debi Patterson from Wildlife Treat and Release will be joining us to talk about the wild life in our area. We'll meet at Jerry's house - 1420 Elk Forest Road.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:45 pm.
